A young girl who lost her mother when the Kharlan tree went out of control before. She has a strong sense of good and evil and loves to be the dominant one in little skirmishes. She is like an opposite to Emil, who is effeminate. She later finds out however that Emil is only modest with his skills, and can actually be a willful person when he feels like it. For her, Emil is her prince. On her forehead lies the actual "Ratatosk Core," where the dormant spirit of Ratatosk resides. She had Emil become her Knight in order to protect herself and Ratatosk.

Marta, as revealed in the March 2008 issue of Nintendo Power, wields a "dual spinner" which is strapped to Marta's wrist and can slice through foes like a circular saw.
